    Need help with feeder
So I got a live rat pup today bc my friend is on vacation and asked me to feed his snake, its a 230 gram ball python and i bought a rat pup because he told me thats what he feeds he said its always been a crazy eater but hasn't eaten in 10 days as of today so I put the rat in the enclosure and nothing the snake didn't even leave the hide what should i do i have only fed f/t before ! How long can i leave it there , if he doesn't take it what should i do with the rat? so many questions thanks… Also he said the last 2 feeding where his first time eating rats so this would be number 3 and he skipped his meal last week

If the eyes are closed, just leave it in with the snake overnight. If the eyes are open and it's actively walking (not shuffling or scooting), then take it out.

Then just leave it in overnight. It won't hurt your snake
