How for sure is bowl wrapping??
Opened tubs this morning to check on everyone and caught this:

    http://i61.tinypic.com/205r20w.jpg

She is a 2011 Female sitting at just a little over 1500 grams. I wasn't really pushing to breed her to hard, had a male in there with her a couple times, no biggie. I honestly never caught a lock and didn't figure he ever got to her. But this morning I caught this.

How for sure is bowl wrapping?? This is not something she makes a habit of doing and I can honestly say this is a first I've seen her do this. I probably missed ovulation because sometimes I only mess with them every 3 days or so, normally just to take a male out if there is one in there, or weekly feed.

Whats your guys opinion on this? Thanks in advance

Its not sure thing it still a good sign thou! It tell u she is thermo regulating so i would guess she is at the early stages! Watch for building from now

breeders say bowl wrapping is not an assurance, but a sign good things.....it happens when building, so you haven't missed anything yet.

Yup - it's not guaranteed, but is a good sign. Also can depend on the individual snake; eg, I have one girl who wraps all year long, she just likes to curl around her bowl, so during breeding season I ignore her wrapping.

Yep... just keep an eye on her and continue to let her eat. If she wants to go, she will want to pound food at the cyclic rate. That's another sign. Putting the male in with her will usually stimulate follicle development. Continue to feed and pair her :gj:

    Best of luck!
