How to escape proof a sterilite enclosure?
Last night, my ball python escaped from his plastic sterilite enclosure. I have a model very similar to this one http://www.sterilite.com/SelectProdu...=180§ion=1
and I assume he escaped from one of the sides without the latches, (the longer sides) because they do not snap close, and I am able to lift them with a finger with some force, they can open to about an inch and a half with quite a bit of force put on it.
Luckly, my ball didnt go far, but I was just curious did any one else have this issue with a sterilite box similar to mine? I really like the plastic and am not willing to switch to glass, because plastic provides the perfect amount of humidity, and is easy to clean and move around. Can anyone recommend me another sterilite (or similar brand) plastic container they use for their ball python that perhaps snaps closed on all sides?
Currently, I have some heavy books placed on each side to prevent my ball from escaping again...

Almost all the sterilite tubs I see are used in a rack system. I think no mater what tub you use you will need to have something holding down the top.

Binder clips or luggage straps.

I bought some straps at Home Depot and use them. They are in the section with tie-downs
