Who is roycanabre?
I'm sure most of the people that have seen this ad have questioned its legitimacy, but it's still worth noting...

Considering that this member really came out swinging with his/her first and only post on this forum, without including pictures of such awesome animals, skepticism is obviously warranted. The number listed is an Ohio area code.
PS...I'm not at all interested in the animals, just putting this up for people to see.

My best guess is that they are a breeder (maybe amateur, maybe not) looking to desperatly sell what they've got, and stumbled upon this forum without looking into it. As a place to post an add. I would also bet they have posted on other forums and Craig's List, and the like, as well.

Googled the phone #, I would avoid.

If it sounds too good, then it probably a scam.
If you google the phone number, it takes you to pretty sketchy searches....

Re: Who is roycanabre?
Obviously to avoid...guess i was slightly too subtle...just a warning post for those that may fall for it...

Ill tell u what if it is a real add .. thats the reason y this business is struggling .. who in there right mind would post those for that cheap .. I personally havent seen any of those for sale yet but im assuming that the price is a lot more then what he is asking ... unless there hets and he didn't state it ...
Someone should call him n see what the deal is .. n get pics of the animals

The ad has been removed. The IP addy was sketchy, to say the least. If anyone is considering following up on that ad, I would advise extreme caution.

As always, buyer beware :gj:

Sometimes good deals do happen, but not often. I saw that ad and scam immediately crossed my mind.
Now they had a guy who posted some nice stuff cheap because needing money for a divorce, and that was a good deal and not a scammer. Generally if you talk to the people who have been around the hobby for awhile we can generally tell you which to avoid and not. Glad you asked about it before trying to purchase.

Since the ad has been removed, I can't view it, but based on the responses I think I know which one it is. If so, I've seen that ad go around a few groups I'm part of on Facebook. It has been determined in those groups it is indeed a scam. Once person even stated they contacted this "seller" in private and flat out asked if it was a scam. Apparently the "seller" responded saying it was and they just wanted some help pulling it off!
Some of this is hearsay, so take it with a grain of salt, but this ad (if it's the one I'm thinking it is) has been removed from a number of Facebook groups already, cited as being a scam.
