Toffee, but that is a biased opinion. :)

I'd be more inclined to choose based on example, producing parents appearance, color advancement to age/size ratio and pattern.

I also believe that they are exactly the same thing. What are the current prices on the two? (ballpark)

thats the smart thing to do. look for both candy and toffee, and get the best one you can find, no matter what its called. BTW candy and toffee are compatible, so when the nicest female you can find this year is a candy, and the nicest male you find next year is a toffee, just go for it, no problem.

Im confused as to why people seem to believe that candy and toffee are the same animal. Every time that I have seen photos of a (GOOD) Toffee and a (GOOD) Candy it is very clear that they are not the same. I currently have a male Candino and he is super solid. His coloring is really really nice, it seems to continue to get better with each shed, he's right at around 400 grams right now and he is basically purple and yellow.

If you see a candy and toffee at the same age they look the same. It's tough when you compare pictures as the snakes change quite a bit throughout their lives. For example, if you compared a candy at six months to one at a year old you would see differences. Plus, candy and toffee have been proven compatible.
