    arrgh! ticket!
I've taken to weighing Ramona after she goes to the bathroom (for consistency's sake). The last time I weighed her was about 2 wks ago, and she was 400g. I weighed her yesterday and she was over 500g! That's a lot of growth for two weeks, isn't it?! :D

And today is feeding day!!!!! :P

What age do you generally start feeding rats? I know it has to do with the snakes size, but an estimate of age would be helpfull cause I've been curious for a while.

6-7 months for females, slightly older for males. It honestly depends on how fast they grow and that depends on how much they are eating. Although it does very from snake to snake, thats a ballpark figure for ya. It all depends on their girth. Prey size should be slightly less than or equal to their max point of girth.

    I like Boo
Well should I just feed my BP every 7 days then to get her up to size by 6-7months or do I need to feed her more often? I'm used to feeding Elysia every 5 days to get her growing, she is eating every 6 days now though.

i feed my bp every 6 days because she is still young (about 2 months old). she gets a small adult mouse at each feeding right now, which seems to fit quite nicely in her little belly. i think they use the nutrition from their food much more quickly when they are little because they do grow so fast.
