Apparently, I am now the BP rescuer. My vet came to work the other day to find a sealed box on his door step and inside it was a baby BP. Lucky the poor thing didn't freeze to death b/c it was 17 degrees outside that morning! Anyway, he asked me if I would foster it (because he knows me and that I have rescued several reptiles including my older BP) and I told him I would just adopt it. So, it is a bit younger than I have ever had before. He/she (who knows at this point) is 66 grams (see, very tiny). My question is, how often should I handle it in an effort to get it acclimated to being handled? I don't want to over handle it and stress it out, but it is really a bit aggressive right now. He doesn't stay balled up, but he does stay ready to strike when he is held. So, any info would be welcome.
Thanks,
Lady Byrd
