    Newb question about males
Well my male pastel butter has locked twice with my female butter.
He weighs about 690 grams and 8 months old. He hasn't stopped eating at all. I haven't had anyone show me how to pop and although I popped him once I not comfortable with it. I worries about hurting him. So needless to say I haven't seen sperm plugs. If he is locking right away is that a sign he is ready? I think it is but I am a newb and could be wrong.

He is ready alright ;) :gj:

BTW Popping is not that hard however it becomes harder as they grow since they gain more control, the key is to have someone teach you so you know how to properly place your fingers must more importantly realize how much pressure you need to apply.

Thanks. I figured but just wanted to make sure he wasn't just going through the motions. I know nothing is guaranteed but at least this is a step in the right direction.
