Re: I need a little Advice
The problem with the heater is it draws alot of amps, a heater has to be plugged in on its own circuit more or less. If you can try and get a ground/ surge protected power bar. Not necessary just helps. On to the snake. Do you have anything to measure temp/ himidity? Or the uth heat level?

Grats on retirement. Get something to regulate the uth. The uth only draws about 15 watts I believe. Also get a digital temp humidity Guage. Don't use those plastic pos things. They are very inaccurate, and can cause you to think temp is lower than it really is. I prefer the coco husk substrate. It holds humidity well. You need a water bowl also. Get everything set up and regulated before you get your retirement present. Oh the temp humidity gauge is about $12 at Walmart. I have one in each of my enclosures and 1 for my house. They run on 1 double A battery. You can use a blanket to insulate, and block out 3 sides and half the front of the enclosure so the snake feels more secure. Also get enough decor to clutter up the enclosure. That way it will help make it feel secure or wad up paper and toss it in. The more the better. Oh and a spray bottle so you can mist to up humidity if need be. I covered 2/3s of the screen top with foil and saran wrap to help with humidity and to help hold temp. Glass enclosures aren't the best for either. If you decide to get a light or ceramic heat emmiter be very careful of wattage, and placement. You could either start a fire, or burn your snake.

Thank you ^.=.^
Yeah I am still working on getting more supplies, because looking at the kit a little more some of the stuff I probably wont need but could be useful for a different time. I do plan on cluttering up the enclosure as much as possible, it'll probably take a couple more paycheck before I have everything. Though some equipment will be annoying to find because I wouldn't know what's good and getting it may be annoying. I am kind of hesitant when it comes to online purchases I would much rather go to the place in person to get it and most likely it's not stocked there.
But I know I'd not get the snake till I have everything ready for it.
Re: I need a little Advice
Going online can be chancy. I prefer to see the snake in person and handle it before purchasing myself but I am looking at some online. What equipment are you having trouble finding? Someone on here might know what to look for and where to find it. Also get a thermostat for the uth. You can go on amazon or just google reptile thermostat. They are pricy but better that than a burned snake.
