    Strange thing happened today
So while fixing some things in my snake's tank, he came out of his little cave and wrapped himself around my wrist like a bracelet. It was not very tight but he had a grip on me, so I took him out and sat in my beanbag. He started doing this weird thing where he would tighten up really tight for a split second and make a sound, sort of sounded like hissing but only about the length of a hiccup. Was he actually hiccupping? He didn't seem agitated because in between these fits he would just stay wrapped and even stick out his tongue. He did this about 2 or 3 times and stopped, what was this strange behavior? :confusd:

I don't think it was a hiccup. It does sound different but wow. I don't know what to say lol. It's awesome he trusts you enough to make a bracelet. It might have just been when he tightened up he pushed some air out of his lungs.

They don't have diaphragms so they can't hiccup or cough.

Not sure what it was. Might have just been air from a deep breath being let out.
