Really diggin' the one in the fourth photo down....love the over all light coloration, and that black trim around the side blotches. :gj:

Thank you Krystal, It was a fascinating breeding.. We borrowed and used a vpi ultra male on our ultra girl and got animals with a trace of granite.. The fellow we borrowed the male from has 2 full sisters from us but in het form.. He got some nice ultras and animals that are full blown stage 2 granites.. The female side coming from SS stuff also put some pretty good striping on them.. Pictures 5 &6 are full sib and 1/2 sib.. These animals are so intriquing..:)

In the last photo specifically you can also see the nice blushing too on the head and cheeks.
I really like what the striping does to the patterns, and I notice that the stripe/SS genes seem to lighten up the coloration over all as well, that nice creamy color. I think that over all, a lot of folks are missing out that don't work with the breitensteini. There is such variation to be had. It keeps things exciting.

The species is nothing short of amazing and very perplexing.. The 1st picture is a girl called Oreo, she is out of a granite called Bebe.. Bebe's produce of 2009 gave us Oreo, Bella and a boy named Bentley plus some.. 2012 we bred Bentley to both Oreo and Bella, the last 5 pictures are produce of Bentley X Bella, these are full blood to Oreo stuff and yet maintain a totally different look.. In essence I will get 4 different projects out of the 2009 breeding as both Oreo and Bella produced granite types.. Bella's is light granite type and Oreo's is a dark type.. While there is good striping in many of these they do not come from any SS stock to my knowledge. A good many have the old school blotching with little to no striping.. This is all documented in the Borneo section of www.bloodpythons.com from 2009 to near present..
