First year, need some advice on ovulation/pre lay shed.(pics included)
Ok basically a few weeks ago i noticed one of my normal girls was looking huge, like she's eaten a huge rat and last week she shed, could this be pre-lay shed or is it too early?

Similarly i noticed my lemonblast girl became huge just over a week ago, and her eyes went blue a few days ago so she should shed soon, could she be ovulating? I could be reading into this too much so wanted to ask for some advice.

Oh and i forgot to mention in terms of behaviors, they've both been seeking the cold, wrapping around their bowls and seem overall lethargic.

I started pairing them both just over a month and a half ago but i started the cool-down period a month before pairing.

I know it's hard to say as you can't see them in person but as it's my first year a little advice couldn't hurt :p

P.S. Don't worry about the burn on the normals neck, she's a rescue snake that i picked up 2 years ago and it doesn't seem to bother her.

Seeking the cool end and wrapping the bowl is a sign of follicular growth. When they've ovulated and are gravid they usually lay in a perfect coil and seek the heat, lay inverted a.s.o.
So if you are right, they should be doing some of that by now..
I guess you'll know soon enough right?:)
