Bci with a stuck shed on his head

So ive never had any of my snakes get a stuck shed just wondering what i can do to help my guy out im soaking him in some luke warm water now the rest of his shed came off yesterday in pieces. Heresa pichttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/30/epa2y4yn.jpg

Let him soak in warm water for a few minutes, then get a wet towel or washcloth in your hand and apply a slight pressure as he crawls through it. It may take a few passes and attempts, but it should help. :gj:

Got probably half of it off with a rubber thumb got it off his eyes and half of his head. How can i get the rest off. Towel didnt help much got a little off but got a majority off with a rubber thumb

If you're patient, the towel after the soak will work.

Note: The water should be room-temp warm, NOT "warm" like we would like it....

Just make sure to check the water temperature for extended soaks, as it drops pretty quickly. You may need to refresh the water as you go. In the few times I've had to do this, I always use an amount of water that only covers about 3/4 of the snake. I had an atb with a retained shed on the top of the head and both eye caps, and he was able to get it off himself with a towel in the tub with water soaked for about 3 hours with maintaining the water temperature.
