Question to those with T8s

I am placing my order for a T8 and I was just wondering, how long did it take for your T8 to arrive.

Also, if anyone got the screen cut out can you please post a picture? I want to see how it will look but their site doesn't have a picture!

It usually takes 10-14 days.

Keep in mind that they ship the glass doors separately a few days after the cage itself. This allows you to seal the cage and let it air out before installing the doors. (occasionally they ship the doors out at the same time, but that is rare)

Instead of getting the cutouts and using heat lamps, have you thought about investing in radient heat pannels?

Mine took close to a month and the glass doors less than a week after. It was christmas time so that couldve delayed it a little also

Thank you for telling me about the doors. I did not know. I am doing some custom art on the back panel of the cage so the extra time on the doors will not be problematic.

How long should it gas out?

I'm also looking at buyin one of these. Can you please post some pictures of the top and front. Sorry for the hyjack.

I say at least 48 hours but more is better. I just wait until the sealant isn't tacky any longer.

Um a long time for my second order. I got to experience firsthand the complaints about Animal Plastics shipping time. If I remember correctly it took about two months to ship and that was without me including the delay of having the RHP shipped to them. For a quick ship item like the T8 is supposed to be it wasn't quick. And the glass doors arrived a day behind the PVC.

Now that they're here I really enjoy them. I have two divided with RHP connected to a herpstat 4. Works well, but I'm phasing the balls out of them. Just too expensive for an animal that hides all day. Tubs it is.

Wow Marrissa! I hope my order doesn't take that long! Was it during the holidays?
