Help! My ball python got out.
She has been missing for several hours. Any advice on places to search?

Try dropping the temp in your house, and then putting a small space heater on the floor near a corner. Supervised of course. It might flush her out and send her towards the heat source. Never tried it before, but it is one of my backup plans in case one of mine ever gets out. Luckily I have two dogs and cats so they pretty much bark and hiss anytime anything moves that isn't supposed to!

Also, try spreading some sand/baking soda on tile floors and see if you can see a snake track to give you an indication if she's in that room.

Other than that all I can recommend is to close the doors to every room, stuff something under the door, and search room by room. Not sure what size she is, so she might still be able to slip out there.

    Good luck!

At 300 grams she can hide just about anywhere and is going to be able to squeeze through a lot of tiny spaces. You've got your work cut out for you.

Ahh good luck with the find an escapee is scary and hard to find. If its close to feeding day lure her out with a rat or mouse near her enclosure. When mine got out she just went across the room into the closet took me around 10 minutes to find her I got lucky but I learned my lesson and it hasnt happened again.
