I was wondering if it is ok to use a UVB light on a tarantula. I was wondering because I need a light on one of Ts and thats the only lite I have.

tarantulas are nocturnal, so i would think a uvb light would bother them. i use a red infrared nightime bulb with my tarantula to create heat and so that i can see her at night.

See I wasn't sure if it is ok to use red lights on them. What watt bulb should I use?

it depends on how big of an enclosure you have and how much you need to heat it. i use a 60 watt zoomed bulb for my 10 gallon tarantula aquarium.

Well, see the thing is that I have multiple Tarantulas. What I mean is that I don't want to have to buy them all lights. So I am thinking about just mountin it so it points at them all. Well if anyone could put some input on this. Thanks in advance!
