    If you put your old shirts that are clean in the hide with the snakes as they grow up will this lead to them being more tame?

    However, your old shirts will get pissed and pooped on, which is...something.

    I fig as much since just holding him with out some paper towels handy will lead to getting pee on you. I was thinking more like the off spring will start to associate your scent with being mom.

    That trick may work with some mammals, but not so much on snakes. Once a BP hatches from its egg it is on its own. I doubt they even have a concept of parents. The best way to calm down a BP is to give them a cage with proper temperatures/humidity/hides and regular handling. Past that there isn't much you can do.
