Hi everyone im a new bp owner and i just want to make sure i have everything set up the best i can. Somethings i plan on changing by the end of the week is the hid box on the warm side and possibly another water dish to help with humidity and more foliage.

And on a side note ive noticed some scales appear to be getting ready for shedding but i didnt notice his eyes change very much. If anyone has any pointers thanks in advance

    Welcome to the site!

It looks like you have the basics covered. Is the heat lamp your only heat source? What do you use at night?

    Ideal cage temperatures are:

    Hot side: 88-92 F
    Cool side: 78-82 F
Humidity 40%-60% normally, 60%-80% during shed.

Here are some threads to read through:

Do you have anything controlling your UTH?

The thermometer you have doesn't measure temperatures in the right place for use with a UTH. for that you need a probed thermometer like this one:

The reason why you need a probed thermometer is because UTH's don't effect the air temperature inside the cage. They only increase surface temperatures.
