10 days since blue!

Hello all,

I recently got myself a 3 y/o male normal ball from my local reptile shop. Everything seemed fine and was going okay until his first shed.

Everything went as expected, and his eyes cleared up on the 17th. Since then, he has yet to shed his skin. I am getting slightly concerened as this seems to be a long time for him not to shed. His temps are good, around 90degs on the heat mat, 73-74degs in the cold hide. I've upped the humidity to ~75%. Could it be that he is still nervous of his new surroundings or is there a bigger issue?

Are you sure he hasn't shed? After they go blue then clear up it's usually a couple of days.

He may not have left you a long, single piece shed. It may be balled up somewhere in a corner or under his hide out of sight.

Pretty sure he hasn't. I shall get him out later on today and have a thorough look, but from my pokings around I haven't seen anything at all.

I have recently gotten home from work and noticed that he has shed his skin :) All come off in one piece, including the eye caps! Very happy right now :)
