    Ball Python Gender
So I bought two adult normal female ball pythons from a trusted friend. The weights are 2000g and 1800g. The 2000g girl had locked up with my male champagne many times so I'm sure she's a female. On the other hand, I had not seen any lockups with the 1800g snake. I kept cycling the male between 3 females and after a couple months of doing this, one night I put the champagne male in with the 1800g "female" and I heard rustling like their tails were wacking the top of their tubs. So I opened it immediately and decided to probe the 1800g snake. It probed male, so after that I was kind of disappointed, not that my friend sold it to me as a female but because I didn't double check. Anyways, tonight I noticed this 1800g male wrapping the waterbowl again and he has done this a few times in the past few days. My question is there a chance that he might be a she. I know probing is not 100% accurate but the probe went about 8 sub caudal scales deep.

What is this 31% based on?

With 8 scales, it's almost certainly a male. It's possible your friend missexed the snake at some point in the past and it was a genuine mistake, or he lied to you about the sex of the snake. I would talk to your friend ASAP.
