Not yet. She is a limbo champ though. Every night, up like a periscope to push the lid, then WAY over backwards. I'll get some real soon.

Just curious...do snakes recognize individuals on sight?

I don't think they use sight to recognize people, they don't see as well with their eyes on the side of their head. But they can smell you and use their heat pores to recognize something is in their space. My bumblebee recognizes the difference between me and a stranger though. He may decide he doesnt want to crawl on a stranger and turn right back around in my hands.

Haha, my snake likes to go upside down along the top of the tank as well. I don't think they can recognize people on sight, though I'm sure they can identify individuals based on their vibrations. Be it, their voices or other noises people tend to make.

Yea most likely by scent, vibrations, and heat. My pastel girl would actually hiss at my fiancee the first couple times she went to pick her up but was perfectly fine with me. She's a total sweetheart with both of us now. When she's out exploring her tub is either dirty or she wants to be held. She will come out onto our hands and doesn't even try to hide or ball when we open the top.
