snakes off feed and extremely active. what should i do
I'm usually not worried when balls goes off feed, usually a couple week later a hopper would entice them to eat again. However this time one of my female girl haven't eat for close to 3 month now. the last time she ate or tried to ate, she was bit by the rat and she let go of the struggling rat. Since than she have not attempted to eat. I always feed live and this is not the first time she has been bitten however it is the first time she panic from getting bit and letting go. She didn't lost that much weight though during her hunger strike. less than 100g difference since the last time she ate and ofc no excretion no shed skin.
I have tried many different size prey, from pinkies hooper to juvenile. she is not interested at all.
However she is EXTREMELY active, and has been for the ever since she stop eating. she is pacing her tub ALOT and even in daytime. She has quite a bit of fat before though and since this hunger strike she feel a lot more firm could this be her way of getting fit lol?
husbandry info:
hotspot 30-32C
coldside 25-27C
no hides.
Should I be worried at all? I wanted to try to get her to breed this or next season and she is sitting at 1499g now. should i put a hide in would that help at all?
Re: snakes off feed and extremely active. what should i do
Sounds like an insecure/nervous/anxiety-filled snake. Adding hides and letting her resettle for a week or two would probably be advisable at this point.

that and i'm squirmish and don't want to kill the rats i raise with my hands, and i will have a massive guilt trip if i killed the rat and the she still doesn't take the rat hence it die in vain :(
she has been living in the the tub without any hide ever since i got her at 350g could she suddenly before shy?
