    Feeder questionI
What do you guys do with uneaten LIVE rats. Ive had a rat here for well over a month because my snake is on a hunger strike and my other snake is way too small to help out. Its a pain taking care of this rat. Ihave to change his bedding on a daily basis and on top of that he is getting BIGGER. Since I dont know when my snake will decide to eat again i want to know what I should do with the rat.

Have you tried taking it back to the pet store you bought it from? The pet store I get my feeders from will take them back and swap them out for a different feeder I need.

    1) exchange feeders

    Or

    2) euthanize and freeze

I was hoping those were not my only options. They said they wont take him back. I have a 2,000 plus gram female I purchased but I have no idea when Im getting her due to the weather. I just dont know If i should wait it out. I guess this is what happens when you only have 1 bigger snake.

Is there any local breeder that will exchange with you or give the rat to?

Kill it and freeze it. Do the deed quickly and in a humane manner.....throw it in a zip lock....freeze it......then if able vac seal it if able and it will keep a long time.
