    Suggestions for new snake
I've decided to get another snake, a large-ish one hopefully, and I need help deciding what kind. Husbandry is not an issue, I prefer heavier bodied constrictors. I'd like one at least 7/8 ft long that can live comfortably in a 6x2x2 as an adult. If you find it easier just list what I can't have. I personally like pythons better but I have a feeling I'll end up with a boa seeing as most pythons are at one end of the scale (giant or small(by my standards a.k.a. Under 6ft)) so I posted here. If you don't mind could you also include why you'd suggest them and (if you have one or some) your personal experience vs. what people usually say about them? I've taken care of all kinds, sizes, requirements, and temperaments. I'm just having trouble deciding what to get on the next step up to a truly giant snake. (Dont worry. I'll love it all the same and keep it no matter the size, temperament, etc. as long as i can care for it properly(hopefully its whole life) and I won't just get rid of it because I want a different one. I've kept bcc's and a BCI before, the Bcc's I kept until they died of old age and the BCI had to be euthanized when she escaped and got severe mouthrot before we could catch her) if you've seen my other thread about the smaller viv(set aside for now for my butter girl's first baby) you'll know money(as long as the upfront is less than 1,000) and college will not be a problem, yes, my parents love 20ft long retics just as much as 4foot long bp's( not that a 20ft retic could live in this lol). Sorry, I tend to ramble. I'd also prefer a slow-grower but fast growth is fine too.

if you want a retic look into a sd retic, or even a white lipped python. as far as boas, look into dumerils, I love mine. she is a heavy body snake (4 foot at 1000g) compared to my arabesque that is 4 foot at 500g. If you want a true looker I personally like the BCL boas along with my purple Guyana that I have if you take a peak in my thread that I just made about him. I am housing all in 4x2 animal plastics tanks. Yes I take mine out a lot 2-3 times a week but I don't see an issue when they get larger in that size tank either.
