    Solution to Zombie Threads?
    Mods, Is there a way to add an "Old Thread Notice" to threads that are not active, to alert people before they post? I've seen this on other sites - maybe it can be done here as well. Here's an example;
    Someone tries to reply to an old thread, and cannot submit the response until they check off the box below.

    Old Thread Notice
    This thread has not received a reply in more than 90 days. When a thread is this old, it is often better to start a new thread rather than reply to it. However, if you feel you have something of value to add to this particular thread, you can reply to it by checking the box before submitting your post.

    Check box here; I am aware that this is an old thread and I want to revive it rather than start a new thread.

    Once they check the box, they can then hit submit. It really helps stop people who don't notice that they have pulled up an old thread.
