Funny reactions to my normal ball killin a fuzzy!
I just thought if someone out there needed a good laugh, laugh at my friends' reactions!:) so this is a video of my normal ball python, Monty, eating a live fuzzy. All 4 of my friends have never seen a snake eat live in person before so they found it quite entertaining! And for those who wanna say I out my snake in harm by feeding it live, I checked before I even left the store that these little guys didn't even have little nubs for teeth. Heck, they couldn't even open their eyes.

Enjoy! :)

Eh, I don't really dig people getting excitement and laughing about something dying. I feed mostly live ASFs but never laugh about it.

Hey, well, congrats on having a bigger heart than the rest of us! :) to each their own.

I agree with octagon. To laugh while a living thing is suffering wither it's food or not isn't cool.

when a lot of tension is released and people are very excited, its quite normal for people to laugh.
for example, totally inappropriate applause. they tried to disable a really big bomb from WW2, and failed, so parts of Munich had to be evacuated. and they detonated it, and it caused a lot of damage. what you see in the video, the fire, is above the roofs of buildings that have 5 or 6 floors.

noone got hurt, property damage was quite massive. and there is absolutely nothing funny here. but you hear people laughing and applauding. thats because the tension has been building for 2 days, in a massive way, parts of the city got evacuated.
build up tension, release it with a bang, people laugh. even if its not funny at all. so cut out the blame and guilt stuff. its just human.
and the video is really cool, thanks for sharing :) :) :)

I think you will get both good and bad feedback for the normal reasons. I'd say your snake struck and coiled like a champ and the little fuzzy got a quick and naturally humane ending. I would have like to see a little better lighting and maybe a slow mo follow up. Sucker is fast!

Thank you for helping clarify that! And thanks for the compliment!
To the negative commenters: The main reason they reacted the way they did was because like I said they had never seen it in person, so it was kind of exciting, and yes, the tension that they were feeling prior to the kill was built up and when he struck, they released the tension by laughing. It took my little guy about 5 minutes to realize that the fuzzy was food.
I knew when I posted this vid there will be people who would dislike the fact that they were laughing. I just found the high pitch "hehe" of one of my female friends amusing. I guess I should've clarified that.
This video was taken on my friends iPhone 4 but this next weekend I will be videoing with my iPhone 5s which has a slow mo videoing option so I will definitely get it in slow mo! :D

Hahaha nice video! I enjoyed that! But yes, next time I post a video it will be a landscape, or "horizontal" video. :)
