Greg Graziani nearly lost his hand to an alligator...
I had the distinct pleasure of being able to do an exclusive interview with Greg about what happened to him last November.

You can read about it here and see some gnarly pictures...

Oh my gosh. It could have been so, so much worse, though. Thanks for sharing, well written article! :)

I am just amazed that we didn't hear about this on the news. I was even living in Florida at the time where everyone has to "Watch out for them gators!"
I guess it's not really news if the animal isn't vicious or an attack, which is a shame. But I am so glad that Greg called up and gave a statement before it was sensationalized.

Wow what a story. A very interesting read and I'm glad his hand was saved and that he's expected to get back to full function.

Huge props to his kids, quite the story. Good luck to him and his family, lots of animals to take care of over there.

Wow. Thank you Judy for writing a fantastic article and pointing us to it. I sent a text with the link to my husband, who sent back "Amazing read" a few minutes later.

Greg may feel embarrassed about his mistakes that led up to this, but he and his family should all be incredibly proud of how they dealt with the situation.

Edit: For those of us who have not yet admitted that Facebook is the center of the universe and don't have an account, is there any other way to send a message to Greg & his family?

Very well written article, thanks Judy. Great to hear how his wife, even after the accident, still supports her husband in his devotion to the care of animals. We should all be so lucky to find a significant other as supportive as her.

He's got a "Contact Us" link on his business website: http://www.grazianireptiles.com/
I'm sure that will get to him. :)

I got mad props going to his son , I know I would of pissed myself at that sight at his age, Plus if I was in Greg's shoes I need clean pants before the medics got there. I glad Greg will be alright in the long run and back in full self once healed up.
