    First Small Rat
My normal BP,Ares, ate his first small rat today :D. I was a little worried when he was eating it. But, he took it down and now its just a waiting game :).

I fed my baby ball his first rat a few weeks ago, MAN did he grow! He shed the next week, too. Since yours is still kinda little, i'd recommend to give him a small rat every few weeks and a smaller one in between since it's such a big meal for him.

The nearest store that I go to only had small rats so I picked two of the smallest ones

So I got rat pups today. They were very small. It was like nothing for him to eat it. I'm a little worried. But, since he had a very big meal last week its not a big problem I would think.

That's a good size for him. I think people tend to under estimate the size they should feed.

It made a rather large lump in him. This was a very small small rat. I hand picked two of them. But, the other one is 10 grams more then this so he will not be getting that for a while. I'm going to find another supplier for rats beause the one I go to now has been unreliable in sizes. They gave me rats claiming they were rat pups. But when I weighed them they were only 7 grams. When a rat pup according to RodentPro is about 20 grams. So, Ares got a very small meal this week sadly.

Man that sucks. He's been on rats for a while now though. But, that was his first adult rat. His first ever rat he ate no problem at all from what I remember he was blind and in shed when he ate it too lol
