    Just updating!
Just updating my albino project (crossing my fingers with the odds). They're eating like crazy and hopefully the Enchi male will be ready for pairing with a large normal female I have in a few months. They're sitting around 450grs at the moment.

    Male Enchi 66% Het Albino

Yeah, seriously. That enchi is gonna make some insane albinos if he proves out.

the problem i see is that two snakes need to prove out.

am i missing something, or does your current albino project consist of a 66% possible het male and a 50% possible het female, and you want to breed these two together? statistically, that means the chance per egg to hatch an albino will be 8.25%.

chance per egg when its 100% het to 100% het is 0.25, because its just possible hets you need to multiply that with 0.66 and with 0.5 . that slices and dices your chances down to just 0.0825 . and if you dont get albinos, you will have no clue if you just keep missing due to bad luck, or if the male is not het albino, or if the female is not het albino, or if both are not het albino. basically you only gain new information when both prove out and you hatch an albino, but failure is more likely.

but forget that if you already know about the odds and plan on getting an albino or 100% hets later on.

that being said, the enchi looks really great, very reduced pattern. i like it a lot. i dont like enchis where the pattern looks rather normal and you need to take a closer look to see that its an enchi. this one is a good example.

Thanks! I'm totally aware of my odds here. If they prove that would be awesome but if they don't, I can still get some very nice Enchi Bees.

I know exactly what you're talking about the pattern in some Enchis and that's exactly the reason why I picked it.
