    snake wont eat!
My 6 month old normal BP male stopped eating. Usually he will take food instantly (and he strikes and coils) but for the past 2 weeks he wont eat.

My husbandry has not changed and I'm feeding him F/T adult mice like he's been eating for ~2 months now. I think he's probably just naturally going off of food. I do have a problem, though, should I keep offering him food once a week on his normal schedule or should I just leave him alone for a few weeks? I don't really want to have to keep throwing away mice if I could avoid it.

If mine skip a meal I add three days to their feeding schedule, once they start again they go back to their normal schedule.

I would just keep trying as normal. This probably goes without saying to, but sometimes it takes them a bit of convincing to strike. And you can always try leaving the f/t prey in by his hide overnight

Are your temps/humidity right? No signs of any disease on him? As long as he's not losing weight, I wouldn't worry. If you really want him to eat, sometimes making the mouse really warm will entice him. I have a heat lamp that i'll put the mouse under to make it warm if my bp's not showing interest and he will usually take it after that.
Sometimes you can even irritate your bp with the mouse and he'll get mad and strike. Kinda rare for that to happen, they usually just hide their face, but it's worth a try.

Irritating the snake with the mouse had worked for one of my picky eaters many times
