    A shedding question.
Lately my 9 month old (going on 10 months) ball python Cornelius has been showing signs of shedding; his scales dimmed in colour and he got white caps on his eyes. It's been about 5 days since he started showing signs of shedding but the skin doesn't seem to be loosening up any more or even beginning to look like it might peel off. On top of that, the white caps that were on his eyes seemed to prematurely fall off. Is this normal or should I be concerned? He's been getting treated with antibiotics for a RI and has two last treatments to go, so perhaps maybe that is affecting this? I need answers please!

It can take up to 12 days for the skin to come off.. The eyes will clear up and then a few days later they will shed.

Well that's a relief! Thank you.
I originally was told that snakes will take a week to shed.
But then, this is exactly why I joined a place like this: So that a beginner owner like me can get information from more seasoned owners and such :)

So he has begun shedding off his skin... But he seems to be having a hard time getting it off his face. Any tips for me to maybe help him with that?
