What the general rule for breeding carpets
So i have a male coastal carpet python and as of right now have no plans on breeding him but if sometime down the road i decide to breed him and get him a gf what would be a good rule of thumb about the weight/ age a carpet should be before being bred

More or less an issue of healthy and age, you can't really "speed" grow carpets, they eat like machines but metabolize it quickly as well. The general rule is females hit sexual maturity at 3 years age, males as well, some won't reach sexual maturity until 4 years as an exception
