Steel shelving for cages that stack?
Wondered if anyone has ever used steel shop shelving units to create stackable monitor cages? I'm thinking of doing it to create two 6' cages stacked to house my savannah and tegu. Checking to see if anyone has tried it out yet.

    Thanks for any input

Creating stackable monitor cages is not feasible or practical. You'd need some serious support for all the weight from the dirt, not to mention the second cage would be up to 8' high for most species, as a 4' deep enclosure is pretty mandatory.
