Back again for 2014!! HERP of the MONTH CONTEST!!

Using pictures submitted in November and December, we've got some beautiful herps lined up for you. (And in case anyone is wondering, we DO realize that a tarantula is not a "herp" but our rules have long included invertebrate pets such as tarantulas or millipedes to be included in this category because they are so closely related to the herp-collecting hobby.)

Oops...I don't know how I missed it, but I just noticed that a ball python somehow slipped into the HOTM batch. It's not going to affect the outcome of the votes here, and it's too late to insert it into the BPOM batch, so I'll just leave it alone. Its owner should feel free to resubmit it to the BPOM category next month if they wish. :)

Yay it's back! I tried submitting a picture again the default way through the home page a week or 2 ago and it still wasn't working. :(

I'm thinking your pics were WAY too big. In order to upload the ones that were submitted in the other thread, I had to resize them. Next month, try uploading pics that are 800px wide. They CAN be bigger than that, but if you aim for 800, you're sure to know they will fit, and that's plenty big enough to be seen on any monitor or device. :)
