I've read on here that some people can just put their arm in the balls cage or what have you, and it'll just crawl right up there. Everytime i go to get my ball out, she sorta curls up like she doesnt want to come out. She's not a baby or anything, and her previous owners used to handle her a lot. Is it maybe because she's shy and isn't used to me yet? I HAVE only had her for about 2.5 weeks. I don't know, I'm worried maybe she doesn't like me.... she's never nipped at me or anything. Am I just being paranoid?? Hopeully she'll start comin around after she gets used to me! :?

When you put your hand in try to stay away from the head, BPs tend to be head shy, I usually let my guy know I'm going to be handling him buy giving him a little rub on the back. Doing it this way lets me know if he wants to be handled or not.....but each snake is differant.

i usually do that anyways. she's very head shy... but oh-so-cute!

my friend thinks im weird because i think she's cute. he asked how i could think a snake was so cute... i was like "Awww, just look at her, she's adorable!!" hehe, guess you gotta have a taste for snakes!!

haha same thing with my friends. one of them actually said he was UGLY ! I almost punched them...jk. but i do love "python heads" better than like.....corn snake or king snake heads (no offense to you corn/king snake owners out there) becuase when you say SNAKE most people think of like a corn snake head and not a python head.I dont know if ANY of that made sense to you guys but i thought i would share, maybe some other wierd person knows what im talkin about ;)

Brandon, i actually know exactly what you're talking about!! Before i got my snake, Lani, the previous owner, told me it was a ball python. I hadn't done much research on it so i had no idea what it even looked like. When i first got it, i was amazed at how much different its head was than what i pictured it to be! My family loves dogs, and i haven't had much experience with snakes.. so you can imagine how cool it was to see the awesome style of Pandora's head. I'm psyched now, she's the coolest pet i've had! well, none-furry one.. :)

She's just taking her time getting used to the new surroundings. No worries :)

With time, she'll get used to handling and won't be so inclined to ball up to protect herself. Just be patient with her. :)
