Fast growing yb het $7 ghost **pic heavy

I got this girl from mike groover, she is a stunning yellowbelly 66 het 7 dollar ghost. She hatched late September and is heading towards 400 grams. I offer her a rat every 3 days and she will not refuse. Every three days in my opinion is too often, I would feed a snake of that size either every 5 days or weekly but thats just my opinion

I am feeding smaller more frequent and have not had any issues, I have heard both positive and negative but so far this seems to be doing well

5 days is often enough.

instead of feeding more often, feed more quantity every 5 days.

there was a snakebytes TV episode where they tried 3 different methods: one got the same scedule but larger food size. the second got the same amount of food, but was fed twice as often. the third one got the original amount of food in the original scedule (meaning less food than the others), but with mineral and vitamin supplements. the one with the larger food size was clear winner, followed by the one with the vitamin supplement. the one that was more frequently fed scored last. yes, even worse than the one that got less food with vitamin supplements. seems like you just accelerate digestion in a way that leads to more poop, but not more body mass.

i never heared anything positive about a 3 day feed scedule, only negatives.

I would go with 5 days, there's no need for 3 days.
