    Guestimation of BP age?
I'd really like to figure out how old Capone is. I've had him for about a month now and everything's been great. Eating well and hasn't tried to bite me (yet). Anyway I'd just really like to figure out how old he is as the pet store had no idea. He weighs 95 grams and is about 19 inches long. It was stated that he was a Het Pied, which I hope thats true because id like to eventually breed. I already made a post just asking some questions and I got allot of helpful and positive feedback, so here it goes again! Here's a few photos of my new buddy.

Unfortunately it's almost possible to determine age without knowing.
Lots of factors... how often and what did it eat? How long has the pet store had it?
and they all grow at different rates

So there's no way to even have a guesstimate? Ball park it.

At 95g he's not very old. Even for an underfed pet store BP kept in typical pet store conditions (read as: not optimal).

Probably a few months to 6 months at most.

As stated previously, there's a number of factors that can influence this and you're not gonna be able to get very accurate. Just know that he's most likely not very old at all and you have decades ahead of you with him.

I wouldn't give him 6 months old. Even at 6 months old being underfed he would still be in the mid 100's. I would give him 3-4 months old tops, but more likely 3 than 4. A lot of things come into play with the size/weight because they could of been underfed for a long time, or fed on a quicker schedule than normal to help them get to size quicker.

    I'd say 3-6 months as a guess...
