i got some fake plants for my bp enclosure--plastic vines with fabric leaves. i'm thinking that i don't want to use my usual cleaning solution of bleach and water because it would be too harsh for the fabric. what about a solution of alcohol and water? what do you find to be the best way to clean fake plants?

I wash fake plants like I wash dishes. Soak them in some soapy water, then rinse well. You could use an antibacterial detergent if you are worried about getting all the nasties out. :)

I use plain ol antibacterial dish detergent to clean water bowls and my fake plastic vines. Just make sure you rinse them completely.

I use vinegar and peroxide to clean my plants.
