    using reptile cleaners ect around snakes how does it effect them and how long should the room be air out?

    I personally use a Chlorhexidine mix, and I spray then wipe and put everything back in. It doesn't require any set amount of time.

    Just make sure the chlorhexidine is EXTREMELY weak. As in a solution of less than 2%.

    The mixture is 1oz per 1 gallon of water if I'm not mistaken, but I and another guy from the forums use 2oz per 1 gallon of water. Then you need to make sure it's distilled water as well if you mix, otherwise it doesn't last as long.
