Strange BP behavior?

This is my first post and done on my mobile phone so sorry :).
Anyway, one of my ball pythons, Pumpkin, has a behavior I've never seen before. She likes to cruise around holding her tail up. At the end of her tail is a bright, almost white, spot. Is it possible she is displaying it or hurt her tail? She's only 3 months old. Other than this strange behavior, she is healthy. Any clue to what it is? My adult male ball python, 8-Ball, never had this type of behavior. Both snakes aren't aggressive, kept in separate cages, fed in desperate cages. I handle them a good bit. I've never hurt them, so her behavior of cruising around like that makes me scratch me head.

Is she a normal? It sounds like one of two things-- needing to take a poo, or possibly having been injured and having her scales rub off (and thus the white spot). If you can download Tapatalk, that makes posting photos from a phone much easier, you just add it as an attachment to the post. Pics would definitely be helpful here.

I've seen my animals do that occasionally before a good poo. :rolleyes:

It's not ABNORMAL, but it's not a very common thing to do. From what little information I've been able to dig up, it doesn't seem to serve any real purpose. It's apparently just something that some BP's do. It's entirely possible that ALL of them will do it occasionally, we just don't see it most of the time.

It's a little funny looking, but it's not as amusing as tail wagging. Some of them do that too, and it's hilarious.

Super hilarious when my balls do it. When my short tail does it? Not so much. More like bloody terrifying.

Oh I need to see that. I had a lizard that wagged the end of his tail before pouncing on crickets, and that was just silly.

It's not that strange :) One of them options is she tries to poo, but if I look at mine :) he does that also and for no apparent reason. Having an inch of his tail up in the air when roaming around :P

And he is healthy no scale problems or anything, he just does that occasionally ;)

Ajja used to do it when she was tiny. She'd get all wound up to tag her mouse, lift the last couple inches of her tail, and just start wagging away.

Speaking of lizards, there's some kind of lizard here around my house that looks almost identical to a Speckled Rattlesnake. When they're threatened, they coil up, tuck their legs under their bodies, and whip the ends of their tails back and forth. It's a pretty convincing impersonation. My cat was not fooled.

My biggest ball girl was pissed at me one day because I took her mate away....she started smacking her tail against the tub. I put him back and they were locked up 10 minutes later lol.

My first BP, may he rest in peace, loved sitting on top of my computer monitor like a tree boa. His tail would dangle down in the middle of the screen and wag like a little curly worm. So cute!
