    Clever...
    Every once in awhile, the snakes do something that really stumps me.
    Last night I noticed Sydney's head poking out of the top entrance of the homemade hides I created for her - two tissue boxes connected with twist ties, both of which have small entrances on either side, but also have a hole in the middle connecting the top and the bottom 'bunks', if you will. Both the bottom and top levels have aspen shavings in them.

    Anywho. I heard rustling around this morning and thought nothing of it. When I went to clean out her water dish today, this is what I saw:
    She had somehow plugged the top entrance with the little amount of aspen that I had put in there! There was just enough to barely cover the tissue box floor, as it kept falling through the hole in the middle.

    I guess she had had enough of the light coming in.

    I am so surprised right now.
