Ok my new dude went thru a not complete shed on Sun night. He will be prone to bad shed's for a while my vet inform me due to the condition he was left in for so long before he was rescued.
Anyway after his soak on Sun night he started to shed and he was rubbing his nose like crazy on the rocks, bark and anything else he could rub it on. Now I have noticed just above the little hole in there mouths ( where the tongue flicks from ) is kinda brownish looking.
What should I do ? Just keep an eye on it and see how it does? spray a little Virosan on it ( they use it for oral surgery) or take him to the vet now? Please do not tell me to apply a little sauve to it because he plain and simple does not like you anywhere near his head and when you get near his mouth he responds by chopping those little teeth at ya :)hehehe and I am a big wussy when it comes to intentionally pissing him off.
    Thanks!

Is he still rubbing? If so, I would remove anything abrasive in the enclosure (like rocks, bark, etc.) and go with smooth plastic until he heals up. I haven't used Virosan, so I don't know what to tell you about spraying him. We've used betadine and Neosporine before with good success.

I would keep an eye on it for a couple of days. Like Smynx said, i'd get rid of anything abrasive that he could still rub on. After a couple of days - week if it gets worse, a trip to the vet might not be bad idea. Does it look tender, or is it bleeding?

No he isn't still rubbing. It looks kinda brownish, sort of like a old pc of skin.
He eat for me just a few moments ago w/ no issues.
I guess best just to keep an eye on it.
    Thanks
