Re: Mites & Other problems
Looks like a feeder may have bit him when he was fed last. He could have also rubbed it while shedding, but to me it looks more like a rodent bite. A bit of neosporin and patience and it'll be fine.
I highly suggest picking up some Provent a Mite to treat your enclosure(s) - even for the snake that isn't showing mites right now, they move far and they move fast, and it's way easier to prevent them than it is to try and get rid of them. I can almost guarantee if you saw a bunch of mites floating in after the first snake was soaked, your other cages have mites that have laid eggs in them already, and you just aren't seeing the adults yet.
This article is how we suggest dealing with mites, and when you're diligent about treating each week, you should be able to get rid of them and never see them again.

Re: Mites & Other problems
Is it possible it's just from rubbing?
I always watch my snakes when I feed them, and They've never been bitten by any one of their meals. I am a very paranoid mom.
Kaa did not have this problem the last time he was fed, otherwise I would of posted about this sooner.
As for the PAM stuff, do I have to order it online or can I buy it at a store somewhere? I don't know if Petco has it, and I don't believe ReptileWorld has it either, as they are the only two stores with Reptile stuff in my local area.
Re: Mites & Other problems
I know we carry PAM on our website, most reptile specialty shops *should* have it but not all of them will carry it. It's such a helpful and commonly recommended mite treatment it surprises me to hear of reptile shops not carrying it.
Sometimes a scratch or bite on the head gets missed during a funky squeeze. Either way, whatever the cause, just dab some neosporin on it and keep an eye on it. It should heal up and be gone after a couple of shed cycles.
