    Is there something wrong?
I got my bp about a week ago and he has already eaten, but I'm worried because he sleeps all the time and won't come out of his hide. The only time he's come out was in the middle of the day. Can someone tell me if something might be wrong?

If they stay in their hide most of the time that is a good sign. If they are out roaming during the day that usually means they are looking for a place to hide, and/or a different temp. Security is really important to them, if they don't feel secure in their enclosure and/or have a snug hide they will roam a lot and they may not eat. As for temps, sometimes they search for lower or higher temps. A good goal: 88-92 on the hot side and 75-80 cool side. Never above 95, and never below 70. I prefer my temps not to drop under 75

A hiding snake is a happy snake.

My ball usually takes one or two trips between hides each day. My bloods NEVER move, I mean NEVER. Complete lazy bums! You would think they were dead if the didn't huff and puff at you when I check on them. Which means, we are happy so leave us alone, we don't need you here unless you bring food.
