Help Me Pick Our Christmas Snake!
So I'm in a quandary. Maybe everybody can help. My fiancee and I were kind of at a lost for what to get each other for Christmas, so we decided to buy a snake together. We have about 1k to spend.

So here are our options so far.

A low white adult piebald female. She's 1500 grams and coming from a local breeder who's getting out of the business. Her final price is 1k. My fiancee is really into piebald and the first snake we bought was a pastel male that's 66% possible het for piebald. Since we figured out what that meant he's wanted to prove him out. However, she's not a great looking pied and honestly, I'm not super into it. I would rather get a younger, better looking female for less money and wait to prove out the male.

A black pewter fire female. She's young, around 250 grams, but gorgeous. The fire in her bolsters our clean up projects and we're both nuts about black pastel. However, we have a couple of black pastels already and we could probably produce one relatively soon. She's 850 from Mike Wilibanks.

Third was my choice. He's a hatchling lesser champange het ghost, with a paradox face from ECRB for 1k. I've wanted to work with champagne for a while now, and even though I'd been really set on Mike's pumpkin line, but they come few and far between. We also have a lot of ghost going on and he helps that project. In addition, lesser is never a bad idea. And then there is his cute paradox face. I feel like that will be a pull to our table come expo time. People love paradoxes. Though, knowing this, I know he's a male, taking up rack space that could be held by a female. And my fiancee feels like champagne is a bad choice for a multi-gene male.

So what do I do? Or any other options that would put us in a new direction or be a valuable twist on one of our established ones? In our price range?

For the sake of your relationship, I would say yes on the pied gene, but find one you like more. In a good compromise everyone gets something, but no one gets everything.

Although an multi gene albino male might be a good option too.

i would choose the black pewter fire female :)

if you would have lots of enchi stuff, champagne would make a lot of sense. otherwise, it would be hard to affect anything except the color of it. and now i noticed, so far you dont have anything with enchi :) also, its a 2-gene male, you already have two gene females and are considering a triple gene female and dont have a triple gene male yet. i would rather get something like a male black pewter fire ^^

pieds are always nice and in demand, that would be my second choice.

im no price expert, but of the 3 hot and new codominants, namely banana, GHI and bamboo, at least two should be getting really close to your price range or may already be within your price range. put these on your radar, and also enchi. definitively enchi.

We also added an enchi leopard female to the mix for 1k. This is going to be a tough choice.

If this female pied is a proven breeder I'd probably go with her, but the enchi leopard sounds interesting too

I'd do this, but I love enchis (they make everything look better when combined) and I like a lot of the leopard combos. I have a leopard female with the goal of making an enchi leopard (along with some other combos) one day.

How about since you have a female with yb in her you get a spark so you can make pumas

I agree with finding a quality female pied if you are both interested in going that route. The enchi leopard sounds awesome as well
