    Place to feed
    Right guys,

As you prob know,I'm new to the snake scene,I've seen that most people say to feed the bp out of the viv, that's fine but, after he takes I leave him where he is to swallow the mouse but when would it be safe to move him back to his viv ?

    Thanks

Most people don't feed in separate feeding tubs any more. Feed him in his normal enclosure.

Not sure where you saw that most people feed outside the Viv. Would have to say likely quite the opposite is true. It is not necessary at all. I have 6 ball pythons and two boas and have never fed outside their enclosures. Zero problems with aggression. Feed and then leave alone for at least 36 hours to completely digest the meal.

I'll add to the "feeding inside the viv" vote! I keep anywhere between 20-30 snakes at a time, so it would take HOURS to move & replace everyone on feeding day... and since BPs aren't known for aggression issues, or strong feeding responses (compared to other species), I wouldn't worry one bit about it. I've been feeding mine in their enclosures since day one, and have no issues with cage aggression - well, with the exception of a cranky corn snake who thinks she's tough. All 400g of her, lol.

Oh, and moving BPs for a feeding can actually make things WORSE. They are notoriously finicky eaters, so changing their environment 2 minutes before meals will increase the chance of refusal... not to mention (as you asked), moving them around right after eating isn't a great idea.

Yep don't stress yourself or the snake.... feed in its viv.

I don't know about making things worse. I feed mine out of their terrarium and mine eat just fine. I also never been struck or bit from doing that as well. It's definitely a personal choice whether you feed in the terrarium or not but it's not worse than feeding them in their terrarium.
