    Problem with litter
Ok guys... any input would be appreciated, my hoppers are dying off. They are seemingly healthy, they were 3 weeks on Saturday. I've lost 4 in two days... :(

I'd suspect a plugged water bottle. Mom probably stopped producing milk and they can't reach the water or can't get anything out of it.

Thank you, I have the water where they can reach it, and boy do they go through it! It did run out one day but not for long, maybe that did it?

Maybe, they do seem to go quickly if they don't have water. Or maybe it's something IN the water? They have gone from drinking mothers milk to drinking water rather recently maybe their just not used to it, maybe try filtering and aging the water?

Well it would be something different to try. Not saying that water IS the cause but it wouldn't hurt to try something different.

They were still with mom, right?

    Was mom eating them?
Mice really can't make it very long without any source of water, and even an hour without water can cause them to panic and go cannibalistic.
throw mom some fatty treats like pumpkin seeds and protein rich treats like chicken to keep her milk nutritious if you're worried.

No she's not eating them, I just found them dead in the tank.
Yes, they are still in with mom

They may have just been sickly from birth, or if she's a new mother she may have smothered them on accident.
