First shed, not sure if it's done or not
Ok, my boy just got done with a shed (first one while I've had him), and it doesn't seem to be completely done. There is about a two to three inch area leading to his tail that has not come off. I put some warm water in a bowl and let him soak for a minute or two, then let him slide through my hand with a moist paper towel, and it didn't get much off, if anything. Should I leave him in the water longer? It seems like that area just hasn't shed yet. He's out and about and not staying in his hide all the time anymore, and every other part of him seems ok.

Is there anything I should do with this or do you think he will just continue to rub it off on his own?

    Thanks!

Put him in the tub with a couple inches of lukewarm water with a dishtowel folded on the bottom to rub against. Leave him in for about 15 minutes and then have him run through the damp paper towel a few more times. Does the trick for me when needed.

Ok, just finished a 15 minute soak and 99% of what was left came right off. He has a tiny bit left right at the tip of his tail, so back in the tub for a few more minutes. Hopefully this will come off just as easily. Thanks for the help!
