Fed llive mouse to kick-start bp eating - now what?
I have always fed frozen/thawed to my snakes... I've never had to feed live before. But after 5 months of my 700 gram female pastel ball python not eating (and only losing 30 grams during this period), I took the advice of many and fed a live mouse to see if she would take it. Sure enough, she took it. My question is this... next week, do I need to feed a live mouse again, or should I try frozen-thawed to see if she'll go back on feed? Also, this is the first mouse she has eaten in a long time... she had been on rats for over a year. Should I try a F/T rat next week?

Oh, and yes, during the 5 months that she didn't eat, I tried many scenting techniques (scent w/mouse, scent with used bedding, scent with chicken broth, scent w/oil from tuna, braining), I tried male vs female feeder, black vs white feeder, etc.
