I have a 30q tub a thermostat uth i just dont know how many holes do i need to put?

Number of holes varies based on humidity inside the tub.
More holes = less humidity.
Less holes = more humidity.
You want just enough holes to maintain the humidity in the tub around 60%
What type of thermostat do you have for the UTH? What type of thermometer are you using?

Holes for what? If it's for humidity, I would check the humidity level first then start putting holes.
Start with 0 holes. It's easier to add new holes than remove holes you don't want.

Ok im waiting for heater to get here so i can test it. I got a ziploc tub i believe its airtight so i might need a few holes, unless i can take out the sealer on the lid. I just got that one because it had 4 latches on the lid.

Well i got my uth in and its too big for my tub i got the 50-60 gal. Heater which covers too much. Will petsmart exchange it for a smaller size without a recipt?
